Style Note.

Designing for an event that has never happened before was certainly a new and rewarding experience. I wanted to design for an event that combines music and fashion in a close and complimentary way. I have attended such events like The Clothes Show many times, however I have always felt there was something missing from this.

Overall I believe that I have created a new and exciting event and design conception that if realised could go on to be a success and would be a yearly celebration of this city, its style and culture.

Style Note Logo Design

My degree show project needed a logo and some merchandise. Even though graphic design is not my field i had ago and i am pleased with the result. I would like to thank Daniel Evans and Hannah Myers , who came to my aid when photoshop jagen made my head spin =)

My passion for live music and performance has given me many different experiences which i will never forget. Getting lost in the atmosphere of a live event, be it a themed event or a live music performance, the time there can be one of the best a person can experience. I want to be able to give other people the same feelings and amazing memories that i myself have had. After university i would like to go into event and performance design, also with the possibility of branching into visual merchandising and retail design.

Since moving from my home town Scarborough to study i have been lucky enough to have access to a large variety of shows, from fashion and music performances through to car exhibitions, each providing its own unique experience for the ticket holder. Having access to these has inspired me further and given me an extensive interest in the type of projects i would like to work on. My current project for the degree show is a fusion of music,fashion and culture. A combination of dancers,performers, music and fashion within several various genres ranging from Bhangra to Indie music, all coming together to create a visually exciting and stimulating performance piece.

Black Xs Launch- Initial Designs

The design follows a set of 2msq clear perspect cubes which are located around the Bullring, in which is displayed a Black Xs Wonderland, a dark-romance, gothic themed display which then leads to the main display area
